It\u2019s a destination that calls to those who crave an authentic Mexican experience<\/strong>, and it certainly didn\u2019t disappoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first thing that struck me about Tlaquepaque<\/strong> <\/a>was its rich history<\/strong>. The mariachi music transported me back to Ajijic, where a young mariachi band visited Hotel Real de Chapala one night to entertain the attendees to the 5-day Viva Mexico Tango Festival<\/a><\/strong>, which I had previously attended during this visit. Their members ranged in age from 6 to 21 years old<\/strong>, and their talent was awe-inspiring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I left Tlaquepaque, not before visiting a tequila and mezcal store<\/a><\/strong>, I felt like I had discovered a hidden gem, one that is brimming with culture, heart, and a deep love for its traditions. It\u2019s a place that invites you to slow down and take in the beauty around you. From its cobblestone streets<\/strong> and art-filled galleries<\/strong> to its mouthwatering cuisine<\/strong> and lively music<\/strong>, Tlaquepaque is a place that truly offers something for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I couldn\u2019t resist buying a guayabera<\/strong><\/em>, a quintessential piece of Mexican<\/strong> and Latin American<\/strong> clothing, known for its light, breathable fabric and stylish yet practical design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
